Hello,

Thanks for joining me here, in my little corner of the world. I could tell you all about myself, but I much prefer to tell you all about my Lord, Jesus.

I will say this much though, my childhood was the essence of horror stories. I learned to hate life at a very early age. But I have been able to move past that because God has shown me true love. He has given to me beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that I might be called a tree of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. Isaiah 61:3

Thankfully, the Lord has blessed me abundantly above measure with the most wonderful husband a woman could ever ask for and four beautiful children of our own, plus a few extra, but I never knew any happiness until I was in my late twenties.  Trust me, I know what it is to feel the deepest of pain, hurt, and betrayal, not to mention hopelessness. That is why I have decided to start this blog. If I can help even one person see the love, compassion and goodness of God through even ordinary, everyday circumstances, then I will have succeeded.
